If you want to give someone flowers, make sure that they are fresh flowers. The less time there is between the flowers being cut and them being given to the recipient, the longer they will last. A lot of flowers that are pre-cut will wilt within a couple days.

A lot of the favorite online companies that sell fresh flowers will cut the flowers the morning of delivery. The flowers are then transported in a refrigerated truck. This means that the flowers are as fresh as they can be when they are delivered, and they have never been subjected to wilting heat.

These differences in handling the flowers can add up to a week of life to the bouquet. Buying fresh flowers definitely makes more sense. The recipient gets to enjoy the flowers longer, and you get better flowers for your money.
