If you want to plant flowers in your garden, getting flower seeds is the cheapest and fastest way to do it. You can buy flowers already started, but transplanting them is time-consuming and traumatic to the plant. There are many places you can get flower seeds, and most popular types of flowers are readily available as seeds.

Having a specific type of flower in mind is a good place to start. When you are shopping for the flower seeds, look at the back of the package and see what kind of growing conditions they require. This way you will know if the space you are picturing them in will really work for that kind of plant.

Looking at the package of flower seeds will also let you know how many seeds you need for the amount of space you have. If you want the freshest seeds you can get, look around to see if there is a seed shop in your town. These stores often sell seeds by the ounce or pound, and they are more likely to sprout than seeds bought in packages.
